The cool thing in my case was I got to feel like a VIP. General public


Wasn’t allowed along the Obama landing area adjoining my complex to the north or along the brief route to the restaurant with the bridge in the background - I had to go through a checkpoint showing that I lived there. I’m guessing the secret service looked into the backgrounds of everyone in my condo complex, which is a fairly compact collection of 4 rows of townhouses.

But, yeah, by the time it was over I kinda figured I could’ve just stayed at work.
