scheduled to land. Like always police had roads and on ramps closed but not too much disruption.

There were a bunch of people standing on the side of the road waiving flags and hoping to get a glimpse of their hero. They had a five gallon cooler full of cool aid for sure.


Now I will admit to doing the same thing with my mom back in ‘09 to see the Queen. We used to own the self storage across from the airport and drove the golf cart to the intersection. We watched her plane land, just a regular British Air, and motorcade drive by, the Queen waiving with her white gloves on. Made my moms day.
