…the president is immune from criminal prosecution for acts committed within the scope of his office — defined liberally — which Trump’s were in this case. I believe judges and congressmen enjoy the same type of immunity.
A president is not immune from acts committed outside that umbrella, such as murdering his wife. Courts must decide this question.
