It didn’t? Why? Why didn’t the Inca empire, or the Aztec empire, develop and evolve based on all these natural advantages.

They had flaws in uniting disparate, diverse populations that the constitution solved, in essence. Your statement in this post is definitely not provable, and the fact that it never happened given centuries and centuries of oppty argues against it.

Not true in China for instance - it had the most powerful fleet in the world less than a century before Columbus. You may recall the book’s discussion of how easily politics derailed such developments there, in ways topography prevented in Europe. So, Europe tended to be a lab for different political theories, which then competed with each other.

Nothing remotely like that ever happened in the new world. I think your thesis is fatally flawed.
