Everywhere. I think you see it on campus after campus with police presence at Jewish organizations, and it’s not necessarily about what’s said at protests. It’s what some of these kids do after the protests, or based on what they’re hearing, in calls for “jihad on campus”, etc. Kids saying they can’t walk to the library at night anymore. They don’t feel safe from their fellow students, who might see a Star of David and start screaming at him as though he ordered the bombing missions in Gaza.

The wokeness people complain about in academia is real. It’s widespread and endemic. The left is the political side that needs to stop denying this. Desperately. This is what any simplistic, black and white lens on the world creates. The left is not only reviving laser focus on identity group, such as skin color (things like black-only graduation ceremonies), which MLK gave his life fighting against, it is reviving the entire concept of “collective guilt”. All members of an “oppressor” group share the blame. Are oppressors themselves.

Academia is now reaping what it’s sowed for years. These hearings were a clear view of it.
