Translation: I’ve spent the last 24 hours hearing how many alums are

Pulling donations and now I need to do something to save face.

Evidently - and I did not verify this - last year there was some sort of dust up at UPenn where the university made it clear that “misgendering” someone was hate speech and threatened punishment for it (perhaps swimmer related? I don’t actually know). So it seems the policy is flexible depending on whom your speech offends?
