But if for the sake of argument that poll is accurate, then we have to say

that the Gazan culture is perpetuating evil (through indoctrination) in a way that must be stopped. It's not just Hamas, it's something deeper and Israel is right to target overthrowing not just Hamas, but the aspects of Gazan society and culture and life that allows those ideas to grow and thrive. It is just not reasonable to expect Israel to do otherwise

So I am arguing that I agree things aren't black and white, but that includes the distinction between Hamas and the rest of Gaza

On this I am with Sam Harris, it is wrong to throw cover and accommodation toward genocidal ideas, be they rooted in Islam or any other ideology
