You seem to be...

unable to further a perspective without at least an implied personal affront (re "Perhaps your current fears are overblown.").

Perhaps that is a result of you not having genuine confidence in your position? Perhaps your viewpoint is only supported by isolated events that pale in comparison with the Capitol invasion? Perhaps you arrived at your standpoint as a result of naivete borne from privilege, entitlement and a false sense of security?

I have stated, more than once, that "IMHO the indictments are warranted and necessary." All I have ever said is "IF he goes to jail there is likely gonna be trouble."

Just asking.....
