The "rush to justice" referred...

to another poster's interpretation and reply to my original post. My use of the phrase had nothing to do with Trump.

Nixon's acceptance of the pardon was a de facto admission of guilt. Something Trump will never do.

We had law enforcement resources to deal with Jan 6. Police officers (Google Rocky Mount, VA Police/January 6 for an example) are already doing time for their role in that event.

As I said, I lived in Texas for many years. Aside from an unpleasant 9 years in Georgia (not Atlanta). The anger is palpable in those communities.

I said in my post: "If he goes to jail." I also said I feel the indictments "are warranted and necessary."

In a post below I cited the stat that there are 120 guns in the US for every 100 people. That equates to 407,995, 875 firearms (but that is mine included so there is at least one for the left).

He's already a martyr to his minions. If he is put in jail, we will find out soon enough who is correct.
