At the risk of

yet another "rush to judgment" misinterpretation of the intent of my post: (re my priors on both "abortion/soon to be resented babies" and "ironic protection of Second Amendment rights"):

The cost of President Ford's pardon likely, as some in the video state, was "the loss not only of the 1976 election but, arguably, the Republican nomination in 1980." History does show he was correct (IMO).

The results of the current (and post?) events associated with this Presidential race are potentially further reaching. The tenor of the "conversation" far exceeds 1974. The reaction has, in my assessment, the potential to exceed discourse.

Hey, I think the Hokies are really going to kick some a$$ on November 25!

But, honestly, that's about the upper limit of my predilection to violence. You know:
sit safely in the stands and cheering a (slightly shameful) thinly veiled reenactment of a Roman Coliseum event.

I had to stretch to find the ambiguity I was reaching for here.
