"Easier" can be for different reasons. Maybe they have a higher


ratio of police to population? Statistics posted here have shown more violent crime per capita in the rural regions, so I would think that would make the work more difficult unless they had more police. Or maybe there is more violent crime, but less in non-violent crime in rural areas?

I know that the concepts of ratios and per capita are a touchy subject for some on this board (not you).
