I can somewhat verify the trend of cops moving to smaller, less


crime areas. My son put in an application for court bailiff in Hanover and there were multiple applicants from other departments. I will say the Hanover department has not had to reduce requirements for officer applicants. Just the initial process to get to the test and first interview was very detailed.
