I just don't get the vitriol. Really, sewer? Might even call DC a swamp?
Should we just assume bad faith of everyone selected to be involved any leadership position?
I disagree with a lot of what happens in Washington, the policy positions or even actions both the elected and appointed leaders, decision of SCOTUS, legislation of Congress, actions by the President - but my working assuming is that they are acting in good faith and honestly believe what they are doing is the right thing / best thing for the country. I believe they might be wrong, but generally don't believe they are evil.
Seems like so much of our politics isn't about whether someone's ideas, positions, words are good or bad policy, but just a fundamental good vs evil - you are evil if you are on the other side and must be eliminated.
