Clearly he's just an awful person - total jerk - I mean
just look at what is reported in this article
It talks about a "letter, signed by all nine justices, raised concerns about "threats" to the safety of justices — a point repeated by Roberts during his Tuesday speech." How could that jerk Roberts raise a point in a talk that repeats something from a letter signed by all nine justices. The gaul of that guy.
Heckling judges at law schools? Judges should be heckled - all the time. They serve no real purpose in this world except as targets for scorn right?. The last thing we should want law students learning is how to listen to and engage with ideas and concepts that might challenge them or they might disagree with. Heckling is the proper response.
And then to say something like "I want to assure people that I am committed to making certain that we as a court adhere to the highest standards of conduct," . . . "We are continuing to look at things we can do to give practical effect to that commitment. And I am confident there are ways to do that that are consistent with our status as an independent branch of government under the Constitution's separation of powers."
To suggest that they are looking at things to give practice effect to the commitment to adherence to the highest standards of conduct but to have the gumption to suggest that the court is "an independent branch of government under the Constitution?" Like the court doesn't have to just submit to and grovel at the feet of Congress or something.
This guy - how is he even qualified to be a lawyer, much less a judge? He is a travesty to our country and all things good and proper.
