and call it a win to people back home. He probably would want a land corridor to Crimea. Ukraine could join EU with some charter language change on how members will support each other in armed conflicts. Would Ukraine be ok making that deal? I don't think anything less would satisfy Putin or enough for him to save face. This gives him the win on paper, but in reality, nothing he didn't really have control of prior. And I think the reality of this invasion would be enough to end his expansion ambition in his remaining years.
