I think most not on the side of the Russians, which seems limited to China, North Korea, maybe Venezuela and Iran, and of course extreme American rwnjs, would love to provide that and more. Would love to take out armed columns stalled in the open.

But that is the way to make this deteriorate into global conflict very, very quickly. It's tragic for Ukraine, and man do I wish NATO rushed in lethal aid more quickly when it could be flown into the country, but global concerns limit what the world can do without truly risking a nuclear holocaust.

I wish that were an overstated risk, but I just don't think it is. Putin will lose, but Ukraine likely still has a lot of war in front of them. They don't deserve this.
