Agree about multi teams reducing the importance. In '74 only one team

could go to the NCAA so even though Maryland and NC State were two of the top couple of teams in the country MD stayed home. Then the NCAA went to 32 teams, then 48. Now 68. That's way too many. Just like baseball and NFL football, more is not better.
