The ACC tourney had some romance or something back then. UVA won it my

first year there. After a 6th place finish in a 7 team league (Duke was dead last!), the Hoos beat NCSU, UMD, and UNC on consecutive nights. Billy Langloh at the free throw line against UNC pumping his arms in the air was so sweet! Then....UVA doesn't win it again until Tony Bennett. Yikes!
