It's a concern for me, and would be a huge concern if it were Bernie vs.
Trump, but at this point I'd even vote for Bernie without hesitation.... we desperately need a normal adult in the White House.
Joe is a placeholder. Someone to come in and return a little bit of normalcy to our government. He is not going to push a radical progressive agenda even though he will be pressured to do so. Hopefully the GOP can reboot in the meantime and run a non lunatic for president in 2024.
I remember thinking how bad things were going to be when Clinton was elected in 92. I was still young and dumb, and being a child of the 70s and 80's the only thing I knew was 12 years of republican leadership under Reagan and Bush along with the 4 years of "malaise" under carter. As a young conservative 23 year old in 1992, I was convinced Clinton was going to be a disaster. Then the next 8 years turned out to be pretty good for the country, and for me personally. By the time Obama was elected, I had come to realize that I'll likely be OK no matter who is president... so long as our system of government that made this country great remained in tact. With Trump, I'm not convinced that will be the case.
