Good post, as usual.
At the end of the day, this is my point. The July 8th event had a much more
profound effect on the August 12th rally than people want to acknowledge
in hindsight. The criticism and abuse that the Charlottesville PD and the
Virginia State Police received, IMO, had a lot to do with how they ended
up gameplanning August 12th. That stemmed from a complete overreaction
of those on the Left. Not sure what you are saying about Trump's failure.
They were merely words, not actions. Lack of actions allowed August 12th
to become a complete, chaotic fiasco. I honestly think that fear of being
labeled something other than a sensitive, caring person gets in a lot of people's
way of honestly and objectively assessing everything that went wrong
