Perfectly fine point, but you are beating up these other guys for
lampooning Trump's "very fine people on both sides" remark by demanding a recounting of their first hand knowledge of those two days. I don't see any of them denying that there was plenty of poor behavior from both sides. And as an aside, I certainly hope none of those little white grannies were arrested for saying objectionable things to law enforcement, as that would not be against the law.
But those who resorted to violence? Of course they should be judged on their actions. None of that has anything to do with the profound moral failure from the Oval Office in responding to the Cville tragedy - of course I'm talking more about the deadly day in August than the one in July. You don't need to have been there physically that day to have a very strong opinion about Trump's failure - and that opinion is in no way a defense of anyone who broke the law.
