Exactly, which is why I'm amazed this is even a discussion. The only gasket
being blown is by those straining every muscle trying to rationalize Lizzie's hypocrisy. Let me get this straight:
Trump opining that he would like to see the real estate bubble pop so he could buy properties more cheaply (or at a more realistic value as most argued in '06) is preying on the downtrodden and cheering for their demise, and much more outrageous than someone that actually did just that? (not that I doubt Trump did it too, I actually applaud and respect both of them for doing it successfully)
Is it really that hard to say "Yeah, I get that this can be an effective populist message to voters (albeit catering to the low info voters as you guys like to say about Trump), but given her history of flipping properties, Lizzie probably isn't the best person to be opining on this."? Are you guys really that unwilling to, or incapable of, having an honest discussion that you'll spend time "blowing gaskets" on silliness like the quantities of properties involved, whether they were bought directly from the downtrodden or from the bank after the damage was done, and just how downtrodden they were when she took advantage of the situation?
