I just saw something on the Oklahoma earthquakes

First, it's amazing - the increase year over year has been more than 100% at times.

Interestingly, it is apparently not about fracking. It is about regular drilling, where the the salty water that is separated from the oil pumped out of the ground is pumped back into the ground - and in such volume since oil hit $100 per barrel that it is destabilizing the area deep down below the surface to which all the water is pumped.

Might think it will self-correct due to the decline in oil prices, but geologists and seismologists are apparently not so sure - no real way to know, apparently, if the damage has already been done.
