but if you are as objective as you claim you would like to be on this subject, I would really urge you to do a lot more reading and talking to folks on the subject, including at least some experienced opinions of those with whom you probably completely disagree. Not only are issues complex on their own, but one can find almost diametrically opposite presentation of basic facts when it comes to Israeli-Palestinian (and wider Middle East) issues depending on what you are choosing to read. It is also just a tad more complicated than "Jews were dispersed for 2,000 years and then a colonial power suddenly just gave them Israel in 1948 which caused immediate homelessness for 700,000 Arabs". I know you were trying to be brief, but this is not that kind of subject -- unless you want to view everything through a rigid, self-serving lens.

Nobody is saying that Palestinians are all simply terrorists or that there aren't real issues on all sides. I am not your "down-voter" but if it bothers you so much that somebody would express negativity over your post which in addition to your history includes presentation of Roger Waters as an intelligent authority on this subject - I'd really urge you to study a wider perspective. Roger Waters is also entitled to his opinion and he has made it known that in his opinion, Israel is a racist, apartheid state that is partaking in nothing less than ethnic cleansing and that the U.S. only walks the line it does because of the all-powerful "Jewish Lobby". I guess it is simplistic and cowardly to anonymously down-vote that opinion because it is such an obvious truth to you?
