All right, healthcare agreed. Bernie Point #2: Stay out of stupid wars. We

good there? I hope and believe so from your prior posts.

#3. $15/hr minimum wage--I'm sensing this one may be a little harder to reach consensus on, your classic economic point being that this ultimately reduces employment, my take being that that would be true assuming demand is elastic but labor-saving automation/technology and existing disincentives for hiring inefficient amounts of labor--required employer payroll contributions being a major one--have rendered the demand for labor inelastic i.e. workforces have been cut to the bone and no significant further cutting is viable even in response to higher cost in the form of a higher minimum wage.

#4. Maybe a little bit of protectionism might be a good thing? Maybe NAFTA hasn't been the win/win for EVERYBODY the Clinton Dems and the Romney Republicans sold it as? I think you're a free-trader so this is maybe where we're furthest apart. But I think maybe we could protect the American manufacturing worker and the American factory town a bit more than we have, without dire consequence (not "without any consequence," but "without dire consequence") to trade.

That's it--the four reasons I'm for Bernie over Hillary, though even Hillary has moved Bernie-ward on #3 and #4. (She's actually THE status quo candidate in the race, including both parties. The only one who's pretty happy with the status quo and promises more of the same)
