an American issue. In terms of race, class, religion, culture and so on, we are growing far more divided than united. It seems as if everyone (on every side of the political spectrum) has fallen into a victim mentality and always looking for reasons to feel slighted and offended. I see the pot boiling and fully expect to boil over at some point (sooner rather than later in my opinion). I pray that I'm wrong, but I don't see any signs of us, as people, pulling back from edge and reducing the level of rhetoric and venom (and please don't kid yourself that it is only the Republicans and right-wingers that are preaching the hatred).
