A slogan that isn’t a threat should not be regulated
I don’t want an authority coming down on unpleasant speech. That’s the whole point of the first amendment. Because what’s unpleasant to me is different from what’s unpleasant to you which is different from what’s unpleasant to everyone. If it’s not a threat, let it go (which is why that woman at a city council meeting saying “we’ll come to your house and murder you” is different).
Just let students protest. If they aren’t endangering anyone, let them be. And speech isn’t violence.
