Unavoidable. I’d be lying if I told you I agreed that would now be in Israel’s interests, although I get the many layers of complexity.

I don’t think they’re going to do that (I think they’ll attack assets outside Iran proper), but yesterday I thought they may not respond at all, and just let Iran lick its wounds, but that seems less likely this morning. So, who knows.
