Apparently, the likelihood is increasing that the Israeli war cabinet will respond, Maybe most likely with strikes against Iranian and its proxies’ assets in the region, but not Iran proper. Sounds to me like a need to appease the rw coalition partners Netanyahu needs to stay in power without sparking a 4 front war. If Israel miscalculates, I can see it fighting Palestinians in the east, Hezbollah in the north, Iran in the east, and Houthis in the south.

Which makes me fear another example of Netanyahu protecting his own interests in ways that don’t align with Israel’s. But, I don’t doubt a majority of Israelis are on board with some sort of response.
