An inflationary dampening effect is productivity

It finally got off the mat beginning 2Q23 and was fairly robust the remainder of the year.

Productivity allows for wage increases without being inflationary.

Thus, I would submit isolating just the job/wage/inflation dynamic to immigration is incomplete (not claiming you were doing that). If 2023 productivity was nil, inflation would be much higher.
