I'm not completely following. Are you making a goods demand argument?


Due to the increase in immigration?

Immigration (in isolation) would typically cool the job market (v. no immigration) due to an increased labor pool, and those jobs being filled.

In terms of the wage-price spiral if we had less immigration, does that tell you anything about wages being paid on these filled jobs?

There is a really important consideration not yet discussed here, but I'll leave that to you to dig out of Elzinga's macro class.
