As a former conservative, I agree with your take on RFK in paragraph 2

That being said, Marjorie Taylor Greene has a significant amount of power in the House right now. Herschel Walker was the GOP nominee in Georgia last time out and Kari Lake has been the statewide nominee in Arizona two straight cycles. Tommy Tuberville is my Senator. This isn't about actual conservatives. The crazies have taken over the plane in the GOP. They used to be hollering from the back in coach and bothering the stewardess, but the plane stayed on course. Not anymore.

It's basically the plot of Con Air.

Or Air Force One I guess.

Either one works with Trump leading the party. :)
