A funny example of Trump having good political instincts in certain spots: today I was listening to a podcast about "Taylor Swift Derangement Syndrome". It noted Trump never got bent out of shape about her where other parts of the right very much did- "hey she doesn't like me, but that's ok, i like her music 25% less for that. Good for her and her boyfriend, he's a great football player." Much better sense than many other Rs, his value system that prizes fame and popularity works in his favor politically. Taylor Swift very popular, harsh abortion restrictions very unpopular.
