No victim?


Financial fraud is financial fraud.

If you commit a pyramid scheme fraud, is it legal up until someone loses money? No. It’s illegal the second you commit fraud.

And the banks were victims because they would have charged a higher rate. Trump’s lies cost them money. And the banks other customers were victims too. They were charged higher rates to make up profits/cover risk that was missing from Trump’s fraud.

Committing financial fraud is not a victimless crime.
