Cops were beaten a week ago, and that fucking idiot Bragg, who I sometimes think is a clandestine Trump ally, he is so politically helpful to Trumpistan, released a bunch of them without bail, and they’ve flown the coup. Just last night stories started breaking of a moped/scooter purse and phone snatching ring in the city - somebody recruiting migrants to ride around looking for lone women (mostly), then riding up behind and snatching phones, purses, and the like. Some very disturbing images, like of a woman being dragged into a post, making the rounds.

Dems are outspending the repubs significantly in that race. Nothing definitive in a special election, but an early indicator of whose immigration spin lands better. I’m not convinced this will be seen as the repubs’ fault by the voters who really determine outcomes next Nov. They need to bury the Bragg’s of the world and message very carefully.
