KaHOOnah’s post about his first hand experience with

treating COVID patients in the early stages of the pandemic categorically exposes as revisionist history your self-righteous assertions that mitigation measures taken in the interest of public health were either foolishly wrong-headed or even deliberately destructive (LOL!). Furthermore, I doubt the families and friends of the 1.2 million dead US COVID victims would agree with your claim that those measures were “far more destructive short- and long-term than the virus itself in relative terms.” Kids can catch up on their learning. Business owners can rebuild or start fresh. The economy can recover, and it has. The dead people are still dead and their families and friends will always feel their loss even though you don’t.
