Sorry you’re so unhappy about our potentially stopping Putin without any loss of American life, but supporting Ukraine’s desire to defend their sovereignty as a way to prevent ever fighting Putin (or Xi) directly seems like a good idea to most of us who are not in the bag for Putinism. Nobody is forcing the Ukrainians to fight for their country (except Putin, of course).

Americans will be much likelier to fulfill your dream of direct participation in combat if we do abandon Ukraine (meaning if repubs succeed in that effort), once Xi invades Taiwan. Maybe that explains your devotion to Putin.
