I'll take an admittedly older guy who has lost a step, but retains

good judgement over a raving, self-serving, petulant bed wetter every day of the week.
Yeah, Joe is older than a President should be, but he is within a standard deviation of what a normal President has been over our history . Trump is not.

It isn't a close call in the least.

Trump's strategy has always been to try and drag everyone down to his level, so that he can effectively say "How dare you hold me to any standard, everyone is dirty". No sale here
