The vast majority of people in both countries want the two state solution to work, and none of the “Arab countries around Israel” are even hostile to Israel at this point (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon) other than maybe Syria by proxy. And the last thing Syria is worried about right now is starting a fight with Israel.

Iran is neither a neighbor nor an Arab country.

Problem is, there are extreme factions in charge on both “sides” at the moment. The desperate situation in Gaza is why a violent terrorist organization is in charge there. The Israeli far right — some of these psychotic settlers in particular— add gasoline to the fire in the West Bank too. Not to mention plenty in charge in Israel know deep down that truly giving rights and Israeli citizenship to Arabs will inevitably lead to the “Jewish state” being majority Arab, so they will never let it happen.

Only way this works is the two state they have tried or flat out ethnic cleansing. Sadly, it looks like Israel may have reached the point where option B is on the table, at least for Gaza.

But yeah, keep pretending the 2 million moms and kids caught in the crossfire are to blame, shit bag.
