A democratic one-state solution doesn't work for Israel for the reason
you state. A two-state solution doesn't work for Israel because of the West Bank settlement movement over the last, what, five decades?
The only think that appears to work (for a Bibi-led Israel, which seems ton be the expectation for, well, forever) is permanent apartheid.
The world cannot condone or support a Hamas-led Gaza; their behavior has been and continues to be despicable.
The world cannot, forever, support permanent apartheid, no matter how much it might prefer to look the other way. See, South Africa.
What's the answer? Fuck if I know. Maybe a Palestinian Mandela will appear with the moral authority to inspire a bilateral movement for change? Seems like it would take a miracle for such a figure to emerge.
