Come on Dan.
All you have to do read the curriculum framework for yourself.
I did and found that most of the document is unremarkable, sterile, and devoid of any real in-depth scholarship- like any generic textbook and not altogether different than Virginia’s framework.
On my first reading, the two essential knowledge issues that stuck out to me were the “may benefit from learned skills” and the implied defense of American slavery because, well, you know…”they were doing it, too.”
What I haven’t done yet (and probably won’t because I’m retired) is go back and see what experts in African-American studies believe should have been included but wasn’t, what was struck or devalued, etc.
