Thanks for the response. I’d hoped for…

…some detail rather than statements, but will take what I can get. Let’s tackle these one by one:

Putin: Do you remember the “reset” button? Do you remember Democrats going to Moscow during the Cold War? As for context, what is wrong with trying to have diplomatic, cordial relations with a foreign adversary? Are you under the impression that’s never been done?

Tariffs: Really? We had tariffs before Trump came into power, and we still have them now, including ones he put in place. Tariffs have been around as long as government has.

Foreign policy: He’s the only president in memory who didn’t start a new foreign war, so I guess in that sense he did operate outside historic norms.

Demonization: Really? I don’t know, man, but as a deplorable, irredeemable, semi-fascist, grandma-killing gun-clinger, I’m not sure I’d agree with Trump inventing the political insult.

Cronyism: The Clinton and Biden families would like a word with you, but to say cronyism is outside the norm in politics is just, I mean, wow.

COVID: Nothing Trump did on COVID was “divisive” other than to people who wanted to lock us down even more tyrannically than we were. He had no authority to do anything policy-wise other than what he did, he signed Congressional legislation that passed with near unanimity, his own science advisors said he followed their advice and, regardless of all the above, what the last few years have shown is that none of it mattered in any case.
