Regarding the politicization of COVID, obviously the author hasn't seen Newsom's anti-recall ad campaign out here, which is largely based on COVID fear porn, replete with the typical leftist misinformation about it. Aside from that, great to see a catalog of examples of some R's showing spine in defending liberty around the country.

By the way, none of those measures or concerns mentioned in the piece are about COVID per se or politicizing COVID. They are instead about protecting against government infringement of liberty. The author attempts to conflate pro-liberty positions with pro-COVID positions, but that's just because she's an idiot (or, more charitably, perhaps just lying). If you want to see what a country looks like when politicians don't protect liberty, take a look at what's going on in Australia right now.

As an aside, here's a pro-tip: Anytime you hear someone refer to Ivermectin as a horse-dewormer or something similar, that's a tell that they are lying about the issue at hand. It's their effort to virtue-signal intelligence by smearing others as fools, but it in fact just signals their own ignorance (or duplicity) regarding basic medicine. This might save you some time in the future as your evaluate whether your news sources are intentionally misinforming you. You're welcome. :)
