Again, I'd need a LOT more information to start opining on whether or not
fraud was committed, but there seem to be more than a handful of highly suspect judgment calls being made throughout. 70K in haircuts as a "business expense" being one of them. It looks very much like someone playing a shell game to reduce tax liability to zero and we know there are no ethical bounds for this president and seem to be few if any for the "legal counsel" he seeks as well. I can't imagine his tax accountants are any more honest or ethical because, if they were, he probably would have fired them.
Which means there's a lot of splainin' to do here, and this guys seems to prefer hiring Saul Goodman types who will do what he asks over actual competent professionals. And I'd bet at the end of the day there's plenty of bullshit to call. Now whether that amounts to criminal fraud or just fines and back taxes, you're guess is as good as mine. But I'd be very surprised if close scrutiny reveals all this shit is legit.
That doesn't even get into the ridiculous conflicts of interest we have here. A president who makes his money of foreigners spending their money at his hotels and seems to live on money borrowed from sketchy banks that are in bed with the Russian Mafiya. I mean, what's wrong with that? LOL.
