There's no doubt he inflates his goodwill. I heard bankers ...

say that Trump tried to claim $5bn of goodwill due to his "brand." To be fair, there's subjectivity in that. Embarrassing, but not illegal.

The bigger question is if there are discrepancies in his tax filings vs. insurance , SEC, and loan filings. That's what Michael Cohen alluded too. That's not embarrassing. That would be illegal.
