I'm far from a Constitutional attorney. But I'll take a wild

stab that this decision really strengthens the case that Presidents are subject to state law.

On the whole, given what is happening on the federal level with ever strengthening consolidation of executive power, this is good for the country, the virtues of Trump's taxes aside.

Minorities of both parties going forward will have some recourse.
