They do... at a macro level. At a micro-level, everyone has examples of


kids raised by single mothers who went on to be extremely successful.

And the relative rates are that black children are 2.5x as likely to be raised in a single family home as compared to white children. I don't have the answer why, but it would be good if we all accepted it is a problem that needs critical attention.
