I think the economic impact of single parent households is the larger, mote immediate problem. Children are expensive, and even two low wage salaries often isn’t enough. If you believe that poverty, not race, drives crime rates, we need to find a way to stabilize families’ economic situations to break the cycle of poverty...reduce desperation and crime rates...and our policing problems should solve themselves.

And no, I don’t think throwing more money at the problem is a long term solution...this needs to be a cultural change. White and Black.
