Marc Rich - that was a scandal.
Sexual harassment by Bill Clinton was a real scandal.

But Benghazi, Foundation donor 'access', a private email server where all the real offenses were committed by others (the ones who actually composed and knowingly sent classified messages) and there is no evidence of any leaks from it, etc. are sandwiches with no meat inside. Histrionics on those things just makes me sad.

Watching people obsess over whether Clinton should have recognized a (c) or whether the crown prince of Bahrain should have gotten a face-to-face meeting or whether she repeated a CIA talking point about a video while Trump is out there threatening to break NATO, set up religious tests, create a deportation force, is hiding his financial record while trying to run on it, brags about bribing government officials, invites the Soviet Union to hack US institutions, and is in general an unstable narcissist whose campaign slogan is 'I alone can fix it' is just too much. I sometimes feel the need to defend the jaywalker even when I know they might have willingly decided to cut across the street rather than use the crosswalk, because I see lots of other people jaywalking without getting the same attention.

I would care more about Clinton's evasions if there were any possibility of finding a willful intent to release classified information to uncleared people, or some other actual offense that I do not firmly believe is routinely committed by people in the same position from either party. Setting up a private email server is just not that big of a deal - many members of Congress have private email accounts, as did her predecessors. And if you believe a private server is SO MUCH DIFFERENT then keep grinding your axe - nothing I can say will make you want to drop it.
