Insurance issues are going to be a huge driver (pun intended) in the


driverless car arena...and not necessarily in favor of it. It boils down to the old ethics question of killing one versus killing many. What algorithm will be used to determine if the computer has a primary obligation to protect the occupants/owner of the vehicle or those around it. Whose life(lives) are more important?
